Time Period: Post Anime
Brief Synopsis: Homura is the God of War and plotted to create a different world without the suffering or hate he endured as a half-breed. Half-god and half-human, his eyes mark him for the 'heretic' he is in heaven. He fights Goku and the Sanzo party several times with taunts for Goku to grow stronger. He knew all of them from their previous lives five hundred years ago in heaven.
He is cruel, driven, and will do anything to achieve his goal of creating a new world. In his rebellion, he is often seen taking on followers that get more than they bargained for by serving him. Homura spent a lot of his life in the prison of heaven for the crime of being born a half-breed. Once freed, he was fitted with limiters in the form of chains across his wrists. In truth, he traded one prison for another as he became the god of war.
Rinrei was one of the few in heaven who did not shun him or sneer at him for his birth. Her punishment and loss was a blow to him that first pushed him into wanting to rebel against heaven. He also wishes to be killed by a worthy opponent - hence why he pushes Goku so very hard to grow stronger.
